I am a 1974 summa cum laude graduate of Brooklyn College, City University of New York. I received my law degree from the Dickinson School of Law, Carlisle, PA in 1977, following which I served as an assistant attorney general for the Insurance Department of Pennsylvania for one year before entering private practice in 1978.
I serve as an assistant district attorney in Perry County, and as a divorce master in Dauphin County. I have participated in lectures relating to workers' compensation, and divorce practice and procedure. I argued on behalf of the Commonwealth in a double homicide prosecution which resulted in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling favorably on the admissibility of DNA evidence; and in a case establishing the legality of anticipatory search warrants under the Pennsylvania constitution.
I have handled hundreds of workers' compensation and social security disability claims from the initial filing of the case or appeal through all levels of hearings and appeals, resulting in the award of millions of dollars of benefits to my clients.
I am admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania Courts, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the Court of Appeals for the third circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. I am a member of the Pennsylvania, Dauphin, and Perry County bar Associations, and the PA Association of Justice, through which I attend at least 18 hours of continuing legal education per year.
