Practice and Professional Qualifications of Daniel Stern

Cases are handled on a contingency fee basis: if there is no recovery, then no fee is due.

  • As a valued client, you are advised regularly of developments in your case. Every effort is made to return all telephone calls within 24 hours. Office appointments are scheduled to avoid conflicts with your work schedule.

  • It is our policy to communicate at all times in an understandable, honest and straightforward manner. We tell it like it is.

  • You should feel free to ask about any type of legal problem. If you are involved in another type of case, for example, divorce, real estate, or estate matter, you will be referred to a competent attorney who practices in that field of law. We will find a lawyer for you.

  • You should know something about the educational and professional background of your attorney. A summary of my professional background follows:

I am a 1974 summa cum laude graduate of Brooklyn College, City University of New York. I received my law degree from the Dickinson School of Law, Carlisle, PA in 1977, following which I served as an assistant attorney general for the Insurance Department of Pennsylvania for one year before entering private practice in 1978. I serve as an assistant district attorney in Perry County, and as a divorce master in Dauphin County. I have participated in lectures relating to workers' compensation, and divorce practice and procedure. I argued on behalf of the Commonwealth in a double homicide prosecution which resulted in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling favorably on the admissibility of DNA evidence; and in a case establishing the legality of anticipatory search warrants under the Pennsylvania constitution. I am admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania Courts, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the Court of Appeals for the third circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. I am a member of the Pennsylvania, Dauphin, and Perry County bar Associations, and the Pennsylvania and American Trial Lawyers' Associations, through which I attend at least 18 hours of continuing legal education per year.
